Mental Health Support Purpose
Purpose/Mission
Go Inspire UK is a women founded charity with the purpose of bringing women together to grow and thrive as a community. We believe that the world will be a better place when all women are supported to become the best versions of ourselves, and that this will allow us to better challenge the discrimination we face.
Here at Go Inspire we recognise that women face a labyrinth of unique stresses and challenges trying to navigate a world in which we are valued as less than our male counterparts. We are inadequately prepared for these additional stresses leading to burnout, self-esteem issues and halting progress towards gender equality.
As such our purpose is to improve women’s overall mental health and wellbeing through providing access to social and educational resources with which to heal past traumas and thrive, but also to provide access to a community and social networks for adult women of all cultures and walks of life.
Our core values are equality, intersectionality, sustainability, social connection, excellence and fun. These values permeate everything we do here at Go Inspire UK.
Because we can rise stronger together.
How?
We do this by offering Peer support groups and workshops for women, delivering mental health and wellbeing education through our events and media platform and creating a resource hub to connect women to all the information and support they need.
Helping women take control over their life, improving their mental and physical health and establishing a sense of belonging whilst being part of our community of like-minded women. Our approach is tailored to all women, offering the right level of support to achieve every woman’s goals.
We recognise gaps in mental health service provision and respond to these by developing and delivering Peer support groups and workshops that provide person-centred care and support to women affected by challenges from modern society.
Everything with equality and sustainability…
What we offer?
Peer Support groups and workshops
Our network of peer support groups and workshops are all run by volunteers with lived experience or who are professional experts in that field of the certain group they are facilitating. We run regular workshops and support groups in various locations in South London, offering a non-judgmental and welcoming space to talk about your experience and get peer support.
Every group is unique and tailored for adult women of all cultures and ages discussing various challenges women face in modern society. Women will be able to share their life stories, express their emotions, set positive intentions whilst connecting and enjoying being part of a group of like-minded individuals who suffer from the same challenge.

Being part of our community can make a difference
What all groups have in common is the support, understanding, sense of belonging and acceptance a woman can only get from another woman who is in a similar situation. Our groups help you build self-confidence, grow further, learn new skills and coping strategies. This will help you to feel less alone and provide a sense of belonging. You do not need to suffer alone.
There is something truly special about creating a strong bond with other women where you can be entirely vulnerable with each other. When this takes place, you create a secure base from which to flourish into all areas of your life with resilience and confidence.
Educational content and mental health support resources
We are bringing mental health and wellbeing support and resources to all women so they can learn to tackle their challenges, grow, and heal together. We cover topics such as female equality, sustainability and improving mental health and overall wellbeing.
We are working in partnership with other charities and local NHS trusts to help women access the information, support, and care they are entitled to, and understand and exercise their rights.
Our app will feature our ongoing support groups, workshops, upcoming events as well as provide access to self-help strategies including meditation exercises and includes useful local contacts to get further support.
